Meals on Wheel Needs Drivers

Do you have a Monday morning a month to give for the homebound? If you do, Meals on Wheels would be very grateful… as would we!
Because a few of us share a route and have a rotation schedule, one individual does not deliver meals every Monday morning. It’s a nice way to share and still be able to “switch off,” having a person or two to fill in when you can’t make it.
Here’s how it works: Each weekday morning, the Meals on Wheels truck delivers prepackaged meals  along with warmers and coolers. A list of clients and directions to their homes is attached. You just put everything in your car, deliver the meals, then return the warmer or cooler after your route (your mileage is tax-deductible, by the way).
People are so very grateful and happy to see you.   In the past we have even had the opportunity to serve our community.
If you’d like to do something wonderful for people in need but just can’t commit to a morning every week, please prayerfully consider helping the “Monday MOWers.” Call Ginger Little, Joe Mallmann, or Judy Larsen Swets for more information or to take a “test drive.”

Sunday School

Get Hooked on Sunday School!

Sunday School is rolling right along! Our Kindergarten-2nd grade class is doing great as usual. I got the wonderful opportunity to lead the group on Easter Sunday, and the kids truly enjoy learning about Jesus. They even taught me a few things! Our 3rd-5th grade group is back in action with Mr. Tim leading. The children’s classes meet in the Preschool Building at 9:45 am. Drop the kids off next Sunday. They will really have a good time and will learn something too!
We hope to see you and the kids this Sunday!
